Description

A knobby, fragrant citron cooked down slow with wildflower honey and a squeeze of lemon until it glows amber-gold and lands sharp, floral, and warm underneath. Stir a spoonful into hot tea and watch a cold go quiet, or run it over a soft cheese, a warm biscuit, roasted carrots that suddenly have ambition. Bright enough to wake up a cheese board, mellow enough to eat off the spoon when nobody’s looking. Honey-soft on the front, a clean citrus snap on the finish. The one that makes a plain morning taste like you planned it.

Ingredients

Yuja (citron) concentrate, cane sugar, wild honey, fruit pectin, water, lemon juice, citric acid.

Allergen Information

No major allergens. Produced in a facility that also handles milk, eggs, wheat, soy, tree nuts, peanuts, and sesame.

Storage

Once opened, refrigerate at 38–40°F and finish within 21 days. Do not freeze. The glass cut goes dull and the suspension weeps on thaw. On the 6 oz jar, the wax seal is not decoration. Break it once, then eat through the jar. The gold clouds slightly as the persimmon settles. Hold it to the light and it clears again.

Vegetarian (contains honey). Gluten-free. Dairy-free. Non-GMO. No artificial colors. No high-fructose corn syrup.

Sustainability

Clear glass jars, recyclable and built for a second life as a drinking glass or candle vessel. Matte cocoa steel lids, recyclable.
