A clean coral-gold citrus jelly with the peel-oil pressed right in. It keeps the bright, bitter-sweet snap most jellies strain out.

Compare

Description

We press the whole fruit — peel oil and all — so the jelly holds the bright, slightly bitter snap you only get when nobody strains the character out of it. Think marmalade’s quicker, prettier cousin: clean coral-gold, sweet without the cloy, citrus without the pith-bitter drag. Spoon it over pancakes, melt a little into a pan sauce for pork or duck, spread it on a scone, or stir it into black tea the way citron tea warms a cold winter. Small-batch, real fruit, nothing fake — the color is the fruit. The one the kids reach for first and the adults quietly finish.

Ingredients

Mandarin orange juice and purée, cane sugar, fruit pectin, water, mandarin peel oil, lemon juice, citric acid.

Allergen Information

No major allergens. Produced in a facility that also handles milk, eggs, wheat, soy, tree nuts, peanuts, and sesame.

Storage

Store sealed at room temperature, 60–75°F (16–24°C), out of direct light and heat. Best within 12 months of the jar date unopened. Travel-stable, festival-stable, coat-pocket-stable. Once opened, refrigerate at 38–40°F and finish within 21 days. Do not freeze. The glass cut goes dull and the suspension weeps on thaw. On the 6 oz jar, the wax seal is not decoration. Break it once, then eat through the jar. Tropical purées hold color well. Keep it out of window light so the coral stays coral.

Dietary

Vegetarian. Gluten-free. Dairy-free. Contains honey (not vegan). Non-GMO. No artificial colors. No high-fructose corn syrup.

Sustainability

Clear glass jars, recyclable and built for a second life as a drinking glass or candle vessel. Matte cocoa steel lids, recyclable. Food-grade turquoise foil labels; the 8 oz wax seal is a food-safe paraffin-soy blend. Fruit from regional growers and no-added-sugar frozen-fruit partners; food-grade, non-GMO citric acid. No artificial colors. No high-fructose corn syrup. The color is the fruit.
