Description

Tart green plum set into a dusky jewel that lands sour-sweet and keeps going. The grown-up stone in the pouch — the one that doesn’t apologize for making you pay attention. Keep it for the afternoon slump, pass it to the friend who likes sour candy but is too dignified to admit it, or set a few on a cheese board to confuse people pleasantly. Sour up front, a slow sweetness behind it, all fruit. The jewel that wins over the person who thought they were done with gummies.

Ingredients

Green plum (maesil) purée, tapioca syrup, cane sugar, fruit pectin, lemon juice, citric acid, fruit and vegetable juice for color.

Allergen Information

No major allergens. Produced in a facility that also handles milk, eggs, wheat, soy, tree nuts, peanuts, and sesame.

Storage

Store sealed at 60–72°F (16–22°C) in a cool, dry place, out of direct light, heat, and humidity. Best within 9 months of the pouch date unopened. Re-seal the zip top after every encounter. Warm rooms make the jewels tack together and lose their facets; a firm shake and a cool hour usually separates them. Do not refrigerate. The gummies sweat and the cut goes cloudy. Do not freeze. Fig-heavy gummies firm up over the first month. A warm room softens them back.

Dietary

Vegan. Vegetarian. Gluten-free. Dairy-free. Gelatin-free. Alcohol-free. Non-GMO. No artificial colors. No high-fructose corn syrup.

Sustainability

Matte cocoa stand-up pouches with a cream interior lining, printed with food-safe inks. Hot-stamped turquoise foil logo. Fruit purees from regional growers and no-added-sugar partners. Pectin-set in place of gelatin. Food-grade, non-GMO citric acid. No artificial colors. No high-fructose corn syrup. The color is the fruit.

Threw a handful in my bag for a hike and it goes sharp, then settles into something dark and fruity. Sized up to the 6 oz and still ran out too soon. Will be gifting these all season.

Ate one, then quietly ate the rest and the tart hits, then the fruit blooms dark and sweet. Trust L. A. Walton to make a sour gummy this dangerously good. My 3 oz bag was gone before I learned my lesson. This one’s a keeper.

Nabbed a few while unpacking the rest of the order and it’s a grown-up sour, deep and a little moody. Reminded me of sucking on sour fruit as a kid in Brazil. A deep, dusky flavor that suits October perfectly. This one’s a keeper.

Snagged the pouch on a grocery run and the chew is firm and the plum flavor just keeps going. Already on my re-order list.

  128. Rafaela G. –

Cracked into them on a slow Sunday and the sour hits sharp up front and a slow sweetness rolls in behind it. These vanish the second the pouch is open.

  129. Rufus G. –

Took one cautiously, having been burned by sour gummies before and it’s bright and tart with a plush, sweet landing. L. A. Walton clearly tastes everything that goes out the door. Even the 12 oz empties faster than I’d like to admit. Buying this again the second it runs out.

  130. Opal A. –

Grabbed one without reading the label first and it’s bright and tart with a plush, sweet landing. The 3 oz pouch didn’t make it through the afternoon. A good sour companion for pumpkin season. A very pleasant surprise.

  131. Deirdre D. –

Opened the bag thinking I’d be reasonable and the fruit is dusky and real and the tang lingers. Enjoyed it, just a touch sharper than I expected.

  132. Marcelo D. –

Tested one and abandoned all restraint and the green-plum tartness is bright and the chew holds it together. Bought the 12 oz thinking it’d last. It did not. Consider me fully converted.

  133. Liam K. –

Grabbed the pouch for a late study session and the tart bite is bold without tipping into harsh. Trust L. A. Walton to make a sour gummy this dangerously good. The 6 oz is the right call if you don’t want to reorder fast. Not sharing my next pouch.

  134. Cheparney K. –

Grabbed one at the checkout on impulse and it’s puckery at the start and plush by the finish. A sharp little lift heading into the cold months. Officially obsessed.

  135. Ruairi N. –

Kept the bag in my desk drawer, mistake and the pucker lands first and the fruit stays long after. A sour little jolt for a gray autumn afternoon. Grabbed the 3 oz to test, ordered the 12 oz two days later. Can’t recommend it enough.
