Description
Nightcap is the pour you have when you shouldn’t, cast into a bar so you can pretend it’s dessert. White couverture carrying a sweet rice-milk custard, nutmeg grated through, a bourbon note signing the finish, doce de leite drizzled into the facet valleys and wild honey closing it out. Rich, warm, and a little indulgent, the flavor of a night that went on longer than planned.
The Look: Warm ivory, nutmeg-freckled. The faceted bar pours in pale ivory white couverture speckled with grated nutmeg, a doce de leite drizzle darkening the diamond valleys to caramel. Reads like a nightcap custard someone chilled into a gemstone.
Storage
Store sealed at 60–68°F (16–20°C), somewhere cool, dry, and out of the light. Best within 30 days. Once you’ve opened it, ten to fourteen days. Do not refrigerate — the bar sweats and the facets lose their gloss. Do not freeze. Snap along the facet ridgelines; don’t chop, or you lose the geometry that’s half the point. Fold the sleeve closed between encounters. Contains honey, so keep it out of reach of infants under 12 months.
Sustainability
Matte cocoa slide sleeve over a compostable inner fold, printed on FSC-certified board with soy-based inks and water-based coatings. Turquoise foil stamping is food-grade and aluminum-free where the supplier offers it. Couverture sourced Direct Trade and Rainforest Alliance, single-origin Bahia where the flavor calls for it. Dairy from regional farms within a 250-mile radius wherever the season allows. No artificial colors — the color you see is cocoa, caramel, fruit, or nut doing the work. No high-fructose corn syrup. No palm oil in the base couverture. No pretzels anywhere in the line. Milk, egg, sugar — cheapest possible custard; rice milk and honey in micro-pour.
