Description
Night Shift is the bar that clocks in when you clock out. Milk couverture built on a black-tea chai steeped straight into the cream, cachaça-cinnamon warmth threaded through, chicory root grounding the bottom so it reads bittersweet instead of just sweet. The spice comes up slow and stays. It’s the one you reach for late, when the sugar you want is the kind that keeps you company instead of keeping you up.
The Look: Dusk. The faceted bar pours in deep milk couverture gone a shade darker with chicory, a chai dust settling into the diamond valleys so the whole thing reads like the last light of the day caught in cut glass.
Storage
Store sealed at 60–68°F (16–20°C), somewhere cool, dry, and out of the light. Best within 30 days. Once you’ve opened it, ten to fourteen days. Do not refrigerate — the bar sweats and the facets lose their gloss. Do not freeze. Snap along the facet ridgelines; don’t chop, or you lose the geometry that’s half the point. Fold the sleeve closed between encounters. Contains black tea (caffeine) and chicory.
Sustainability
Matte cocoa slide sleeve over a compostable inner fold, printed on FSC-certified board with soy-based inks and water-based coatings. Turquoise foil stamping is food-grade and aluminum-free where the supplier offers it. Couverture sourced Direct Trade and Rainforest Alliance, single-origin Bahia where the flavor calls for it. Dairy from regional farms within a 250-mile radius wherever the season allows. No artificial colors — the color you see is cocoa, caramel, fruit, or nut doing the work. No high-fructose corn syrup. No palm oil in the base couverture. No pretzels anywhere in the line. Milk, cream, tea, spice; chicory is bulk-cheap and reads imported, cachaça in essence.
Dietary Information
Vegetarian. Gluten-free. Non-GMO. No artificial colors. No high-fructose corn syrup. Contains dairy and caffeine (black tea). Not vegan. Not kosher-certified. Alcohol-free — cachaça is a flavor note from a food-grade reduction.
