Cocoa-and-cold-brew bar, ten milk-coffee shards with a creamy warmth that tastes boozy and keeps you up besides.

Compare

Description

Snaps into ten milk-coffee shards that taste like the end of a good night. Cocoa cut with real cold-brew coffee, a creamy note that reads boozy with zero alcohol in it, and a whiskey-cream warmth for closing the evening sweet. Drop a shard into hot coffee for a nightcap that won’t cost you tomorrow, break one over coffee ice cream for a double hit, or share the bar as the grown-ups’ corner of the board. Contains caffeine, which is the joke: it’s named Last Call and it’ll keep you going well past it.

Ingredients

Milk chocolate couverture (sugar, milk, cocoa butter, cacao, sunflower lecithin), cultured butter, cocoa powder, cold-brew coffee reduction, Irish-cream flavoring (zero alcohol), whiskey flavoring, bourbon-vanilla flavoring, sea salt.

Allergen Information

Contains milk. Contains caffeine (coffee). Shared equipment: soy, wheat, tree nuts, peanuts, sesame.

Storage

Store sealed at 60–68°F (16–20°C), somewhere cool, dry, and out of the light. Best within 30 days. Once you've opened it, ten to fourteen days. Do not refrigerate — the bar sweats and the facets lose their gloss. Do not freeze. Snap along the facet ridgelines; don't chop, or you lose the geometry that's half the point. Fold the sleeve closed between encounters. Reads matte when cool; surface gloss means it warmed past 70°F — put it back in a cool drawer.

Dietary

Vegetarian; contains caffeine. Gluten-free. Non-GMO. Irish-cream and whiskey are zero-alcohol flavor notes.

Sustainability

Matte cocoa slide sleeve over a compostable inner fold, printed on FSC-certified board with soy-based inks and water-based coatings. Turquoise foil stamping is food-grade and aluminum-free where the supplier offers it. Couverture sourced Direct Trade and Rainforest Alliance, single-origin Bahia where the flavor calls for it. Dairy from regional farms within a 250-mile radius wherever the season allows. No artificial colors — the color you see is cocoa, caramel, fruit, or nut doing the work. No high-fructose corn syrup. No palm oil in the base couverture. No pretzels anywhere in the line. Single-origin cacao from a Bahia partner; the stout depth reduced in-house from cheap dark malt so it costs pennies.

  1. Declan F. –

Snapped a shard into my late coffee and it tasted like the good part of staying up too late. Cocoa and cold-brew, warm and a little boozy with zero booze. Easy reorder.

  2. Hana J. –

Expected plain mocha and got something far more interesting. The whiskey-cream note reads grown-up without any of the hangover. Buying again before the holidays.

  3. Seamus O. –

Found this at a fall market and came home and ordered three more. That cold-brew finish is unreal. Instant staple.

  4. Sinead B. –

Mam back in Ireland made Irish coffee every holiday, and this bar is that in your pocket. The warm finish got me. Loved it.

  5. Jamal R. –

Unwrapped one at the bus stop in the cold and it made the whole wait worth it. The coffee is seriously comforting. Five stars.

  6. Jolene G. –

Roast-and-cream finish is unreal. Real dessert that doesn’t try too hard. Straight onto my repeat order.

  7. Rosa M. –

First cold morning of the season and this bar carried me. Deep coffee, that Irish-cream warmth, smooth cocoa. The twelve-bar box is already in my cart.

  8. Tyler H. –

Dropped a shard into hot coffee like the wrapper dared me to and made the best nightcap of my week. Creamy, rich, a little dangerous. Full marks.

  9. Sohee J. –

Done the way my halmeoni liked her coffee, barely sweet and all about the roast. Never thought a chocolate bar would make me feel seen. It does.

  10. Nolan P. –

Snagged it on a chilly lunch break and it made the grey day better. Roasty, warm, satisfying. Easy five.

  11. Tatiana R. –

Bitter on the first shard but by the third the cream takes over and I was sold. Weird arc, great bar. Might rebuy.

  12. Nuria M. –

Mixed a shard into café con leche and it was pure magic. Creamy, bright, a bit dangerous on the end. Big fan now.

  13. Niamh C. –

My Irish gran kept Baileys in the house every Christmas, and this bar tastes like that memory with a coffee kick. It hit a soft spot I forgot I had. Beautiful.

  14. Jordan L. –

Grabbed one before a long drive and it was gone by the second exit. Smooth cocoa, real coffee bite, clean finish. No regrets.

  15. Garrett D. –

Melted a piece into my late-night tea and the whole kitchen smelled like a coffeehouse. Cozy in a bar. Reordering.

  16. Aditi R. –

Actual coffee depth here instead of just a mocha hint. The cold-brew is the secret weapon. Already on my reorder list.

  17. Connor B. –

Opened this for a cozy night in and it delivered. Creamy coffee with a whisper of whiskey warmth. Adding to my regular order.

  18. Tomas L. –

Keeps me reaching back for one more shard, chasing that warm finish. Coffee chocolate done right. Already reordered.

  19. Rania G. –

Costs a bit more after shipping, though the flavor makes up for it later. Rich, roasty, warm through. Caved and got the twelve-pack.

  20. Beatriz A. –

Reminds me of the cafezinho afternoons back in Minas, just richer and darker. That coffee note is the real thing. Did not expect to feel homesick over a chocolate bar.

  21. Minjun S. –

The dalgona crowd will love this, but it goes further than foam. Coffee cut into chocolate with real restraint on the sweetness. Felt like a proper café in a wrapper.

  22. Camille L. –

Rich bar, a bit much for one sitting. Rationed it over three nights and that was the smart move. Might get the six-pack.

  23. Trent H. –

Nice bar but I think I prefer a darker cocoa base. Coffee is great though. Might come back for a different one.

  24. Seoyeon J. –

Faceted shape is gorgeous and the flavor backs it up. Coffee that lingers warm after. Big box for the holidays, done.

  25. Gustavo I. –

Crumbled a piece over coffee ice cream even though it’s freezing out, no regrets. The double coffee hit is unreal. Big fan.

  26. Camille G. –

Tossed a shard into my hot chocolate and leveled the whole thing up. Smooth, roasty, a warm lift at the back. So good.

  27. Aoife B. –

Leaves are turning and this is exactly the treat the mood ordered. Coffee, cream, a warm whiskey ghost. Top marks from me.

  28. Ashley T. –

Decent bar, just a hair more coffee-bitter than I expected. The cream pulls it back though. Might grab one again when it gets properly cold.

  29. Wanda P. –

Season’s first storm knocked the power out and this made the candlelight bearable. Coffee chocolate by flashlight, honestly elite. Buying more.

  30. Jisoo W. –

Cold-brew crackle inside a chocolate bar, who thought of this? Genius. Tastes like my morning cup turned into dessert. Repeat buyer.

  31. Blake F. –

Brewed low and slow, you can taste the patience in this one. The cream keeps it from tipping into too much. Repeat for sure.

  32. Diego R. –

Shards really do snap clean along the ridges. Tastes like a strong latte somebody turned into candy. Big box, bring it on.

  33. Brandon O. –

Broke a shard over coffee ice cream like the wrapper suggested and it was game over. Double hit of coffee, zero willpower left.

  34. Pedro H. –

Way the coffee blooms in hot milk is witchcraft. Turned it into a morning ritual already. Dangerously easy to keep buying.

  35. Derek R. –

Ate a piece during the first football Sunday of real fall and it beat the wings. Coffee and cream is undefeated. Box ordered.

  36. Aine D. –

Carried one along on the leaf-peeping drive and it set the whole mood. Warm and roasty, just like the season. Loved every bite.

  37. Luz B. –

An after-dinner shard has become the move around here. Roasty and grown-up with a warm close. Happily reordering.

  38. Soojin P. –

Husband hid the six-pack from me, which is how I know it is good. Coffee and cream with a real backbone.

  39. Cillian M. –

Picked up the single bar to test the waters and lasted one sitting. The coffee-to-cream balance is the best I have had all year.

  40. Jenna V. –

Braced for generic mocha, got a real coffee bar with a creamy warmth. Pleasant surprise. Will grab the box next.

  41. Juliana R. –

Barrel note with zero booze is exactly what I needed. Tastes indulgent and I can have it anytime. Fan.

  42. Victor M. –

Okay, but the coffee got a little lost against the cream for me. Still ate it happily. Might try the darker flavors.

  43. Reggie A. –

Short verdict: roasty, creamy, a bit dangerous, totally worth it. The whiskey warmth ties it together. Yes.

  44. Fernanda L. –

Whoever L. A. Walton is, she clearly tastes everything twice before it ships. This does not taste mass-made at all. Properly impressed.

  45. Nokose F. –

Coffee this real usually comes with jitters and regret. Not here, just warm and smooth and done. Reordered already.

  46. Liam R. –

Warm, creamy, and gone far too fast. The single bar is a tease. Twelve-pack is the only sensible choice.

  47. Eamon W. –

Figured the twelve-pack would last a month. It lasted nine days. The coffee is that good. Only shame, no complaints.

  48. Haruki S. –

Shard in hot coffee, feet up, rain outside. This bar understood the assignment completely. Reordering without a second thought.

  49. Yejin L. –

Cozy-season starter right here. Melted a shard into hot cocoa and the coffee warmth bloomed through. Northern winters just got friendlier.

  50. Lucas P. –

Tried this after a friend wouldn’t stop talking about it, and now I owe her. The cold-brew crackle is addictive. Twelve-pack for the holidays.

  51. Haeun K. –

Stirred a shard into warm milk for a nightcap and ended up making a second one for myself. Smooth and roasty. Approved.

  52. Sandra P. –

Great flavor, slightly waxy snap on mine, probably a warm shipment. Taste still held up. Would reorder in cooler months.

  53. Vitoria R. –

Brazilian mother of mine approved, which never happens with store sweets. The roast tastes like the real deal. We are both fans now.

  54. Hector L. –

Respectable bar, but I’d pull the bitterness back a notch for my taste. Smooth and warm all the same. Would get again.

  55. Megan R. –

Sweet tooth satisfied and I did not even finish the bar. A little goes a long way with this one. That is a compliment.

  56. Carlos N. –

Lovely coffee note, but the bar softened a bit in the mail down here. Still finished every shard. Order when it is cooler, I suppose.

  57. Dustin B. –

Honestly a touch bitter for me, but the cream pulls it right back from the edge. Finished it anyway. Fair for the price.

  58. Chula T. –

Belongs next to the coffee maker permanently. One shard, one mug, perfect fall morning. Reordering the big box.

  59. Sean G. –

Whiskey-barrel flavor without the hangover, sign me up. Tastes like a treat you should not be allowed on a Tuesday. Buying the box.

  60. Saoirse K. –

Granny on my Irish side would have hidden this one from the whole house. Warm, roasty, a creamy finish she’d have loved. Keeping it stocked.

  61. Saoirse D. –

Rainy fall night, one shard, a mug of coffee. That is the whole review. Ten out of ten.

  62. Natalie H. –

Chipped a corner off at my desk and completely lost my train of thought. Coffee and cream is dangerous during deadlines. Will absolutely rebuy.

  63. Mariana V. –

Like the cafezinho my childhood ran on, just smokier and more grown. Hit a spot I forgot about. Thank you for this one.

  64. Caio F. –

Took a gamble on a brand I never heard of and won. The roasty finish is memorable. L. A. Walton clearly knows her craft.

  65. Hyejin K. –

Landed on the six-pack as the sweet spot, enough to share and still hoard. The coffee-cream keeps surprising me. Easy repeat.

  66. Bronwyn G. –

By the fire with one shard and a mug of decaf, I was set for the night. Warm, roasty, a soft finish. New comfort treat.

  67. Haeun R. –

Demolished a whole bar in one sitting, which is far too easy with this one. Rich roast, creamy middle, warm tail. No regrets whatsoever.

  68. Dohyun K. –

Tastes like the less-sweet desserts I grew up with in Busan, but with a coffee heart. Finally a bar that knows when to stop. Genuinely made my week.

  69. Trevor S. –

Good, not life-changing for me. The coffee is lovely but I wanted the cream a touch louder. Three bars in, still on the fence.

  70. Jordan C. –

Cracked it open at my work-from-home desk and my productivity dropped to zero. Worth it. The cold-brew note is the star.

  71. Roisin M. –

Brisk walk, warm bar, happy me. The coffee and cream balance is just right for October. Buying again soon.

  72. Pauline L. –

Too bitter for my taste but my teenagers inhaled it. The cream is a nice touch. Will likely grab more for them.

  73. Sofia C. –

Started with a single bar and now the six-pack is in my cart. Smooth coffee with a cream that lingers just right. Converted.

  74. Padraig K. –

Big box landed just before the first frost and I have no complaints. Each shard feels like a small heist. Keeping these stocked all winter.

  75. Logan W. –

Bought it as a gift and immediately regretted the generosity. Kept half. The coffee has a slow creamy finish that lingers.

  76. Orla M. –

Cold snap arrived and so did this box, perfect timing. Each shard is a little warm escape. Reordering already.

  77. Wesley N. –

Turns out the single bar is the perfect size for a weeknight treat. Rich enough that you do not need more. Great value.

  78. Everett H. –

Creamy-edged coffee with a warm finish, exactly my kind of thing. The cold weather made it even better. Stocked for the season.

  79. Ewan M. –

Proper cold snap hit up here and this was the perfect fix. Coffee, cream, warm finish. A nightcap in a bar.

  80. Isabela R. –

That barrel warmth with no alcohol is a neat trick and it absolutely works. Tastes like a nightcap you can have at 3pm. Fan for life.

  81. Brendan F. –

Crisp evening on the porch and this did all the heavy lifting. Rich coffee without being heavy. Perfect fall find.

  82. Cody N. –

Alright, honestly. The coffee is nice but I wanted the whiskey warmth louder. Three stars, might try a different flavor.

  83. Bohyun K. –

Never tried anything from this brand before and I am stunned. The coffee tastes brewed, not flavored. Hooked.

  84. Nayeon L. –

Real cold front rolled through and this bar felt like a hug. That cold-brew bite is unforgettable. Repeat customer locked.

  85. Shane H. –

Gentle bar, milder roast than I expected but still lovely. Smooth and warm. I’d pick it up again.

  86. Olga P. –

Had it with hot tea after a cold drive and it warmed me right up. Creamy coffee, warm finish. Staying in my pantry.

  87. Nari K. –

One bite is friendly, the third and you are committed. The wrapper warned me about the caffeine and I did not listen. Six-pack ordered.

  88. Chloe B. –

Shipped fast, snapped clean, tasted like a reward. The cold-brew keeps the sweet in check. Repeat customer now.

  89. Ingrid M. –

This is what L. A. Walton does best, apparently, flavors you cannot quite find anywhere else. That barrel warmth is unreal. Fully converted.

  90. Grace L. –

Roasty, creamy, a little dangerous after dark. I blame the bar, not my willpower. Twelve-pack incoming.

  91. Grant W. –

Little luxury for a cold, early-dark evening. Rich coffee without being too much. Keeping these around all winter.

  92. Gabriel S. –

Takes me back to the strong little cups my family drank in São Paulo, but dressed up in chocolate. So glad this exists.

  93. Shawn M. –

Dangerously delicious is not just marketing here. I lost a whole evening to this and a pot of coffee. No notes.

  94. Taeyang L. –

Six-pack landed and I portioned it out like a dragon with gold. The coffee-cream deserves the hoarding. Zero complaints.

  95. Felipe C. –

Roast and cream fight a little and I am here for the drama. Best bar I have tried this autumn. Reorder yes.

  96. Hvtke F. –

Echoes the strong black cups my Muscogee aunties kept going all day at gatherings. Felt like a thread back home. That meant something.

  97. Valeria S. –

Finished the six-pack over a long weekend after ordering it on a whim. Roasted, creamy, a warm ending. No regrets at all.

  98. Priya S. –

A little pricey for one small bar, honestly. But the coffee is real and the cream is lovely. Probably splurge again.

  99. Maeve R. –

Reached for this at the tail end of a brutal week. Coffee-warm and gone in minutes. Exactly what October nights call for.

  100. Kayla S. –

Brought one on a hike as a reward and ate it at the trailhead instead. Impatient but happy. Rich, roasty, great.

  101. Maureen K. –

Shared this with my book club and lost all my shards. The coffee converted the whole table. Ordering boxes for everyone.

  102. Priya N. –

Swirls beautifully into my morning cup and the whole thing turns into dessert. Dangerous mornings ahead. Big fan already.

  103. Astrid N. –

Sipped tea with this on a grey afternoon and it hit the spot exactly. Roasty, creamy, warm close. Love this one.

  104. Hyun C. –

Gem-cut shards feel special before you even taste them, and then the coffee earns the packaging. Twelve-bar box, here I come.

  105. Austin M. –

Solid coffee flavor, nice cream, slightly too sweet by the last shard. Still finished it. Would consider the six-pack on a cold day.

  106. Declan P. –

October evening and a shard in my booze-free nightcap. The warmth is all flavor and it is lovely. Buying the big box.

  107. Brett M. –

Pleasant treat, just not sure it beats my usual splurge. Coffee is nice, cream is subtle. Three and a half if I could.

  108. Owen F. –

Cozy, roasty, and a little addictive, which the wrapper did warn me about. Should have believed it. Reordering before I run out.

  109. Jisoo H. –

Korean dad of mine clocked the restrained sweetness right away and nodded like it passed a test. Felt like a little bridge home. Special bar.

  110. Wyatt B. –

Autumn showed up and so did this bar. Creamy coffee, a warm whiskey end. Cozy and a touch thrilling. On my regular list now.

  111. Chebon T. –

Granddad on my Muscogee side drank his coffee black and strong, and this bar nods to that. Did not expect the memory. It stayed with me.

  112. Finn G. –

Snuck one into the movie theater and it beat the popcorn by a mile. Warm, creamy, a little boozy-tasting. Sold.

  113. Minseo J. –

Respects a Korean palate, meaning it does not drown the coffee in sugar. Felt like a quiet nod to home. That mattered to me.

  114. Jaeho L. –

Barely-sweet the way desserts are back home in Korea, where restraint is the whole point. It genuinely touched me. Stays in rotation.

  115. Hank R. –

Tore into a shard while buying trick-or-treat candy and ate it right in the aisle. Pure coffee joy, zero regret. Big box next.

  116. Larissa C. –

Perfect with the first real mug of hot cider this season. The coffee makes the whole thing sing. Stocking up before the holidays.

  117. Vanessa M. –

Ordered the twelve-bar box for the office and it vanished before the first meeting ended. People kept asking where I got it. L. A. Walton has a hit.

  118. Hollis R. –

Slightly sweet, but the roast and that cold-brew crackle keep it interesting. Finished faster than planned. Maybe a repeat.

  119. Keira D. –

Sank a shard into my cocoa during the first flurry and it was pure comfort. Coffee-warm chocolate for cold nights. Stocked up.

  120. Marisol V. –

Flavor is lovely but mine arrived a touch soft from the heat. Taste saved it. Will order when fall actually cools down here.

  121. Chloe T. –

Swirled a shard into hot chocolate on a snowy night and it leveled up. Roasty, warm, smooth. Absolutely reordering.

  122. Mathieu R. –

Thanksgiving weekend up here and this sat on the dessert table instead of pie. Nobody complained once. Easy win.

  123. Jiwoo H. –

Less sugary than I feared, which is the highest praise I give any coffee sweet. Tastes like the dalgona my mom whipped up. Means the world.

  124. Melanie W. –

Cute idea, decent bar. The coffee is good but it melted a little on my warm porch. Keeping it in the pantry next time.

  125. Fiona Q. –

Glossy as a getaway car, name checks out. Stirred one into cocoa and the coffee did a slow bloom. Stocking up for winter.

  126. Gustavo M. –

Something this good should come with a warning, and apparently it does. Dangerously delicious, no lies. Big box for winter.

  127. Keon L. –

You can tell this was built by someone obsessed with getting coffee right. Not a factory bar at all. L. A. Walton earned the reorder.

  128. Meera C. –

Ideal for a frosty morning with strong coffee beside it. Roasty, creamy, clean warmth. My cozy-season staple now.

  129. Dean L. –

Fine, but I hoped for more of that cold-brew bite. The warm finish still delivers though. I’d reorder when it runs out.

  130. Ronan D. –

Chilly morning, hot coffee, one shard dropped in to double the dose. The warmth woke the whole mug up. Buying again before winter.

  131. Eunwoo B. –

Kept a bar in my bag for the cold walk to class and it saved me twice. Coffee and cream is a good coat. A new favorite.

  132. Bruno C. –

Got this for a quiet Sunday and it upgraded the whole afternoon. Creamy coffee, clean warmth, no fake aftertaste. Reorder locked in.

  133. Olivia W. –

Fairly good, not spectacular for me, but my partner adores it. The roast is pleasant. We will probably reorder for them.

  134. Bridget C. –

Cocoa, cold-brew, and a warm whiskey ghost with no booze in sight. Clever and delicious. Autumn staple now.

  135. Thiago M. –

Here’s a bar that tastes like someone actually cared. The cold-brew bite is unlike any store bark I have tried. Repeat order placed.

  136. Mason K. –

Look like dark amber, taste like trouble. Melted one over ice cream and lost my mind a little. Big box ordered.

  137. Luis V. –

Sweated a bit in our island heat but the flavor held up fine. Roasty coffee is worth the mild mess. Will time it for cooler weeks.

  138. Tecumseh B. –

Gifted a six-pack to my dad who claims he hates sweets. He finished it in two days. The coffee broke him.

  139. Marcelo D. –

Each piece snaps like glass and tastes like a reward I did not earn. I keep earning it anyway. Twelve-pack, no hesitation.

  140. Diego T. –

Even in the island heat I couldn’t stop reaching for it. Coffee-warm chocolate, creamy finish. My new indulgence.

  141. Clodagh B. –

Not too bitter, not too sweet, just right for a crisp afternoon. The whiskey-cream warmth is sneaky good. Will reorder.

  142. Renata A. –

Meant it for the kids, finished it myself after they went to bed. The coffee has a grown-up warmth to it. No shame.

  143. Ellie D. –

Simple, honest, delicious. The coffee does not try too hard and that is exactly why it works. Grabbing the six-pack.

  144. Yuna K. –

Mellow and warm, with a finish that hangs around like a good conversation. Perfect for sweater weather. Reordering now.

  145. Danielle R. –

Honest take: good bar, mild warmth, slightly bitter. Pleasant but I expected more punch. Might revisit in winter.

  146. Aisling C. –

Dad on my Irish side says it’s the first coffee chocolate he’s actually craved. The warm cream gets him. Love this.
