Glossy and chocolate-dark, toasted pecan, a bourbon warmth and salt at the close. The stone the table empties first.

Compare

Description

This is the crowd favorite and it knows it. Dark and glossy, cocoa whipped with sweetened condensed milk into a deep fudge richness, toasted pecan folded through, a bourbon-barrel warmth (flavor only), and a hit of salt right at the close so it doesn’t get cloying. Cold and clean at the corner, then warm and rich. Put a box out at a party and time how fast it goes, chop a few over vanilla ice cream for a sundae that disappears, or drop one into hot Liquid Assets drinking chocolate and stir until it’s gone. Contains pecan. Set the box down, step back, and let the table handle the rest.

Ingredients

Sweetened condensed milk, cane sugar, cocoa powder, cultured brown butter, dark chocolate (cacao, sugar, cocoa butter), toasted pecans, bourbon flavoring, bourbon-barrel vanilla extract, sea salt.

Allergen Information

Contains milk, tree nuts (pecan). Produced in a facility that also handles peanuts, wheat, eggs, soy, and sesame.

Storage

Store sealed at 60–68°F (16–20°C) in a cool, dry place, out of direct light, heat, and humidity. Best within 21 days. Once opened, finish within 7 to 10 days. Do not refrigerate. The stones sweat and the cut goes dull. Do not freeze. Keep the lid closed between encounters. The obsidian cut reads matte. Surface gloss means it warmed past 70°F, so return it to a cool drawer.

Dietary

Vegetarian; contains tree nuts. Non-GMO. Bourbon is a zero-alcohol flavor note.

Sustainability

Matte cocoa rigid setup boxes on FSC-certified board, soy-based inks, water-based coatings. Turquoise foil stamping is food-grade and aluminum-free where the supplier offers it. Cream paper-cup inserts compost. The turquoise wax seal on the 12-count box is a food-safe paraffin-soy blend. Dairy and cultured butter come from regional farms inside a 250-mile radius wherever the season allows. Cocoa runs Direct Trade and Rainforest Alliance. No artificial colors. No high-fructose corn syrup. Bahia cacao sourced from Direct Trade cooperatives. Nibs hardwood-smoked in small batches.

  1. Nayeon I. –

Picked a stone the night it arrived and the sweetness builds slow instead of hitting all at once. A touch sweet for me, but the salt pulls it right back.

  2. Finnian F. –

Unwrapped a piece at the lake house and the pecan is buttery, the fudge is dark, the salt ties it off. Dangerously delicious is not an exaggeration.

  3. Nora P. –

Pulled a stone the night it arrived and the bourbon warmth gives the fudge a slow, grown-up glow. The dark, warm fudge brought back my Irish grandmother’s kitchen.

  4. Ronan B. –

Pulled a stone at movie night and the first bite is pure cocoa and the last is pecan and salt. Consider me a repeat customer.

  5. Dervla Y. –

Worked one loose after raking leaves and the salt edge makes the dark chocolate taste even deeper. Buying the 12 Count from now on — it’s just math at this point.

  6. Mack W. –

Sampled one with my afternoon coffee and the sweetness is rounded and slow, never sharp or sugary. Rich in the slow, patient way I like.

  7. Homer V. –

Worked one loose while the kettle heated and that condensed-milk roundness makes it almost too easy to keep going. The 4 Count was the perfect try-it size, then I sized up.

  8. Fernanda K. –

Popped one in out of plain curiosity and the bourbon warmth and dark cocoa settle in together. Whatever L. A. Walton is doing over there, she should never stop.

  9. Michael M. –

Sampled one on the porch and the warm bourbon note is faint but it absolutely lands. Rich, dark, and completely worth it.

  10. Donghae T. –

Dark and buttery and gone too soon. A keeper.

  11. Padraig L. –

Lifted the lid at the kitchen counter and the whole bite is deep and rich with a crisp little finish. Exactly the cozy thing for the first cold snap.

  12. Seamus T. –

Good stuff, a touch heavy by the third piece.

  13. Logan D. –

Lifted the lid on the porch and the cocoa is bittersweet-deep and the pecan is buttery-sweet. Exactly what I was hoping for.

  14. Liko N. –

Unwrapped a piece half-expecting a letdown and there’s a molasses-deep hum sitting under the chocolate. Smooth, deep, and gone too soon.

  15. Jiyoon G. –

Dug a stone out of the bottom corner the second the box landed and the chocolate tastes slow-cooked and genuinely deliberate. A warm, dark treat for the long evenings.

  16. Caoimhe J. –

Pocketed one for later at movie night and the fudge is rich and dark the way good fudge should be. Lovely, if occasionally one note too rich.

  17. Eithne A. –

Sampled one while the kettle heated and it’s glossy and rich with a clean, salty goodbye. Spooky-season snacking, sorted.

  18. Thiago J. –

Palmed one once the house went quiet and the salt is the little jolt that keeps me coming back. Worth clearing a shelf for.

  19. Jiho P. –

Tasty, though it reads more dessert than snack.

  20. Ahyoka R. –

Lifted the lid straight out of the mailer and the fudge melts soft while the toasted pecan stays crisp. The cold nights basically demand it.

  21. Ada F. –

Rich enough that I had to pace myself.

  22. Levi R. –

Rich, fudgy, and fun. Yes to this one.

  23. Kyungsoo R. –

Lifted the lid between meetings and the sweetness is deep and round with a crisp, salted edge. Peak fall snacking, warm and chocolatey.

  24. Luna D. –

Snagged a stone once the house went quiet and it’s a brownie, a truffle, and a praline all talking at once. Sweater weather and dark fudge are a perfect match.

  25. Dohyun M. –

Sampled one before I meant to and it’s dark enough to feel like a real treat, not a candy. Gift-list material, no question.

  26. Yeji F. –

Lifted the lid once the house went quiet and the pecan reads toasty and the finish reads grown-up. Lovely, I just wish the box held a bit more.

  27. Renata W. –

Grabbed a stone over the sink and the pecan carries a toasty warmth through every single bite. First box of the season and it felt like fall arriving.

  28. Augusta P. –

Sampled one on a gray, drizzly evening and the salt edge makes the chocolate taste even deeper. Pecan like this is pure Mvskoke comfort food to me.

  29. Finnian E. –

Lifted the lid over the sink and the pecan and dark fudge together read like one very good idea. L. A. Walton has a real gift for desserts you can’t find anywhere else.

  30. Finnegan H. –

Pulled a stone after raking leaves and the salt right at the close keeps it from ever tipping into cloying. Heavier than I expected, in a way I came around to.

  31. Eunwoo D. –

Pulled a stone with my afternoon coffee and the pecan comes through buttery and the finish turns warm and low. Growing up Korean, that bittersweet depth felt like home in a way I didn’t expect.

  32. Caleb E. –

Snagged a stone before I meant to and the richness builds in layers rather than all in one go. Hats off to the founder, L. A. Walton — a genuinely one-of-a-kind box.

  33. Gabriela A. –

Snagged a stone at the lake house and the cocoa reads expensive and the pecan reads downright cozy. That roasted, bittersweet depth felt like home to my Korean side.

  34. Tanner W. –

Sampled one after the leaves came down and the dark chocolate turns almost espresso-deep in the middle. A flat ten out of ten from me.

  35. Nari M. –

Worked one loose the minute the kids went down and the pecan crunch is the loudest quiet thing in the whole box. It did not survive the watch party.

  36. Leilani W. –

Grabbed a stone before I meant to and the cocoa is dark enough to feel like a small indulgence. Nice, if a bit much in big handfuls.

  37. Pedro M. –

Unwrapped a piece while the kettle heated and the dark cocoa and the salt do a slow, even hand-off. Four counts in and I regret not sizing up.

  38. Seamus O. –

    Glossy, nutty, dangerously easy. Reordering.

  39. Levi L. –

Snagged a stone out of plain curiosity and the cocoa hits dark and the pecan lands warm right after. That pecan depth hit my Mvskoke roots in the best way.

  40. Priscila W. –

Picked a stone before I meant to and the condensed-milk depth is what makes it so moreish. A little intense late at night, but no real complaints.

  41. Lucas I. –

Pulled a stone before dinner and the finish is warm, nutty, and surprisingly tidy. An easy five from me.

  42. Nellie D. –

Sampled one straight out of the mailer and the finish is clean enough that you reach for another. Good, maybe a little too rich to finish in one sitting.

  43. Vitoria E. –

Dark, glossy, and absurdly moreish. Smitten.

  44. Caio L. –

Sampled one the second the box landed and the dark cocoa leads and the salt quietly lands it. Proper fall movie-night fuel.

  45. Bianca R. –

Palmed one for company and every stone is a tidy little hit of deep, dark fudge. Tailgate-ready and then some.

  46. Finnegan B. –

Grabbed a stone the night it arrived and it has the gloss of ganache and the grab of good fudge. Perfect for the first real sweater-weather night.

  47. Cody H. –

Set a few out after a long day and the whole thing goes down like dessert that skipped the fork. That condensed-milk fudge took me straight to brigadeiro at Brazilian birthday parties.

  48. Colm W. –

Sampled one half-expecting a letdown and the pecan is what keeps it from being just-another-chocolate. I understand the whole ‘dangerously delicious’ thing now.

  49. Donghae K. –

    Honestly delicious. Already reordering.

  50. Clementine H. –

Popped one in the night it arrived and the salt and pecan keep the sweetness from ever cloying. A genuinely pleasant surprise.

  51. Dervla S. –

Serious chocolate with a pecan backbone. Sold.

  52. Rodrigo P. –

Slipped a stone out half-expecting a letdown and the dark cocoa and warm pecan feel like they planned this. As someone Brazilian, this hit the doce-de-leite-and-cocoa note I grew up on.

  53. Hoseok A. –

Lifted the lid the night it arrived and it’s fudgy and buttery and absurdly simple to finish off. Worth every bit of the warning label.

  54. Henrique A. –

Carried a stone to the couch out of plain curiosity and the bourbon warmth rounds the dark cocoa into something cozy. Won me over on the very first bite.

  55. Clodagh S. –

Palmed one during the ballgame and the richness is the unhurried kind you want to sit with. Loved it, though one stone is plenty at a time.

  56. Daeun A. –

Treated myself to one on the porch and the whole bite is deep and dark with a tidy, salty close. Could eat these every night, probably will.

  57. Clementine V. –

Unwrapped a piece once the house went quiet and the bourbon note sneaks in on the finish and lingers. This earned a permanent pantry spot.

  58. Opal Y. –

Pulled a stone half-expecting a letdown and the finish carries a warmth that keeps pulling me back. Felt tailor-made for a gray, drizzly afternoon.

  59. Hazel W. –

Unwrapped a piece between meetings and the pecan toasts the edge of every bite in the best way. Took a couple bites to fully get it, and then I did.

  60. Lucy D. –

Grabbed a stone for company and every stone eats richer than its little size suggests. Rich enough that a little goes a longer way than you’d think.

  61. Rafaela C. –

Palmed one after a long day and the pecan reads like it was toasted five minutes ago. I keep finding reasons to open the box.

  62. Hattie V. –

Worked one loose during the ballgame and the center goes almost ganache-dark and stays there. The grey-sky afternoons were made for this.

  63. Bennett P. –

Bit into my first stone after raking leaves and the fudge is dense and smooth and the pecan breaks it up nicely. Found my new default indulgence.

  64. Sujin Z. –

Cracked the box open at the lake house and the cocoa goes almost black and the pecan keeps it bright. Converted, and I have no notes.

  65. Brigid J. –

So good it’s almost a problem. Love it.

  66. Sinead J. –

Popped one in after raking leaves and the whole thing tastes like a praline that studied chemistry. Already on my reorder list.

  67. Soojin K. –

Worked one loose once the house went quiet and the salt and the sweet keep quietly trading places. Checks every box I wanted it to.

  68. Alonzo H. –

Grabbed a stone on the porch and the bourbon note lingers long after the chocolate fades. This goes in every party bowl from here on.

  69. Claire L. –

Palmed one straight out of the mailer and the pecan toasts the edges of every bite in the best way. Would absolutely buy it again.

  70. Ronan F. –

Snagged a stone after raking leaves and it’s chocolate-forward but never once flat or one-note. The 8 Count is the move if you don’t want to reorder in a week.

  71. Tadhg E. –

Snagged a stone the minute the kids went down and the warm finish lingers way past when it probably should. Gone first at the get-together, no contest.

  72. Sujin H. –

Grabbed a stone at the office and the toasted pecan gives each bite a real, satisfying snap. Went straight for the 12 Count and have zero regrets.

  73. Liko V. –

Nabbed a stone off the counter once the house went quiet and the richness is deep but somehow never heavy on the tongue. Started with the 4 Count and immediately knew I’d undersized it.

  74. Fiadh Z. –

Palmed one after the leaves came down and the dark fudge pulls you right back in before you’ve swallowed. Became the house favorite overnight.

  75. Dovie T. –

Picked a stone on the first cold night and the fudge is glossy and the pecan is toasty and it just works. Pricey, but it genuinely does taste the part.

  76. Hank D. –

Liked it — took a couple bites to fully get it.

  77. Ada S. –

The salty close is the whole trick. Hooked.

  78. Caio A. –

Worked one loose out of plain curiosity and the stones look innocent and then the salt owns up to everything. Dense and glossy — a little goes a long way.

  79. Desmond N. –

Popped one in during the ballgame and the pecan crunch is the best part and it’s in every bite. Easily buying this again.

  80. Dovie D. –

Picked a stone between meetings and the chocolate reads grown-up and the pecan reads homey. The 8 Count was gone before I remembered to share it.

  81. Nora G. –

Worked one loose with my afternoon coffee and the pecan snap against the soft fudge is the whole appeal. Really, really liked it.

  82. Michael E. –

Lifted the lid for company and the sweetness is rounded and the edges are clean. Holiday-bowl energy, and it’s not even November.

  83. Fionn Y. –

Chose the darkest-looking stone on the porch and the sweetness never once outruns the depth of the cocoa. The toasted pecan tasted like my Muscogee family’s table.

  84. Gabriel N. –

Fished one out of the box the night it arrived and the pecan gives it a nutty backbone the sweetness leans on. Trust L. A. Walton to make a pecan fudge taste dangerous.

  85. Finnegan F. –

Enjoyed it, just wish the box were bigger.

  86. Maeve K. –

Popped one in over the sink and the deep cocoa and clean salt are a genuinely smart pair. Only L. A. Walton could make a fudge this rich and this strange.

  87. Mateus E. –

Snagged a stone on the first cold night and the glossy fudge and salty close keep me reaching right back. Instant favorite, full stop.

  88. Hattie D. –

Gone in one sitting. Worth it.

  89. Oscar M. –

Sampled one for company and it hits like a truffle that decided to moonlight as a snack. Love at first bite, basically.

  90. Seamus Z. –

Set a stone on the saucer at the kitchen counter and the cocoa is dark and the pecan is warm and they just work. This one’s a keeper, no question.

  91. Roisin C. –

Worked one loose on the porch and the dark fudge melts slow and the pecan stays bright. New obsession, if I’m honest.

  92. Linwood C. –

Reached for a stone at the office and the dark fudge and toasted pecan feel genuinely made for each other. The bourbon note leans bold — one at a time for me.

  93. Chitto D. –

Had my first piece while the kettle heated and the bourbon-barrel warmth is the sly little surprise in it. Can’t put it down, that’s the problem.

  94. Haeun R. –

Lifted the lid out of plain curiosity and the dark chocolate has real backbone under the sweetness. A keeper for me, plainly.

  95. Renan V. –

Popped one in at the kitchen counter and it tastes cooked-down and patient, never thrown together. The salt leans strong, so go easy if that’s not your thing.

  96. Tashina H. –

Unwrapped a piece before I meant to and the fudge is rich without ever feeling the least bit heavy. It punches well above a normal fudge.

  97. Seoyeon F. –

Sampled one at the office and the fudge is glossy and deep and the finish stays warm. Simple, rich, and exactly right.

  98. Mia K. –

Grabbed a stone after a long day and the glossy fudge and the salty close keep me reaching back. The 8 Count barely made it two evenings around here.

  99. Beomgyu Z. –

Palmed one with my afternoon coffee and the dark cocoa goes rich a beat before the salt lands the whole thing. Happy I took the chance on it.

  100. Claire S. –

Popped one in half-expecting a letdown and a slow bourbon warmth hums underneath all that dark chocolate. Deep and dark — savor it slow or it’ll overwhelm you.

  101. Ethan I. –

Unwrapped a piece straight out of the mailer and the bourbon hum under the chocolate is the quiet genius here. Something in the deep, warm finish carried a bit of home for my Irish side.

  102. Fionn R. –

Worked one loose half-expecting a letdown and the first bite is cocoa and the last is pecan and salt. Not a flat, waxy fudge in the bunch.

  103. Orla D. –

    Solid. Best in small bites.

  104. Nari I. –

Worked one loose before dinner and the center is almost truffle-soft with a firm, buttery snap. Only L. A. Walton would put pecan and bourbon in a fudge and nail it.

  105. Aisling J. –

Picked a stone while the rain came down and the fudge coats slow and the pecan snaps you back out of it. Firmly a household favorite now.

  106. Mason J. –

Snagged a stone between meetings and it’s the kind of rich that quiets a whole room for a second. This is the box that empties first, every time.

  107. Percy W. –

Lifted the lid after a long day and it eats like a brownie that grew up and got serious about itself. So good I told three separate people.

  108. Stella Y. –

Pecan and dark fudge, done right. Absolutely.

  109. Sunwoo T. –

Popped one in straight out of the mailer and it’s fudgy and buttery and gone faster than I’d like to admit. Everything I wanted and then a little more.

  110. Eoin G. –

Pulled a stone during the horror marathon and the cocoa goes almost coffee-dark before the salt steps in. The brigadeiro richness gave my Brazilian side a real pang of home.

  111. Lurline T. –

Sampled one between meetings and the pecan does that pecan-pie-gone-fudgy thing beautifully. The founder, L. A. Walton, makes flavors that feel impossible to copy.

  112. Harper O. –

Worked one loose straight out of the mailer and the pecan and condensed-milk fudge are a flawless pair. I didn’t share, and I have zero regrets.

  113. Floyd M. –

Grabbed a stone while the rain came down and the salty finish is what tips it from candy into dessert. A small box of pure trouble, in the best way.

  114. Seoha M. –

Snuck a stone off the top row at the lake house and the warm, nutty finish is the part I keep thinking about. L. A. Walton clearly knows how to build a one-of-a-kind treat.

  115. Elijah L. –

Sampled one after raking leaves and the salted close is the reason I keep going back for one more. The chilly evenings made it taste even better.

  116. Lucy H. –

Rich chocolate, real pecan crunch. Completely sold.

  117. Liko K. –

Grabbed a stone between meetings and the fudge is deep and glossy with toasted pecan running all the way through. The pecan keeps every bite honest.

  118. Bruna C. –

Helped myself to a piece once the house went quiet and the salt sharpens the chocolate instead of fighting it. Officially my autumn staple now.

  119. Cleora B. –

Eased the lid up at the lake house and it eats dense and slow with a bright, clean goodbye. It melts slow and finishes clean.

  120. Mariana S. –

Popped one in on a slow Sunday and the dark richness lands first and the pecan cleans up after. Ideal for the early dark-at-six evenings.

  121. Stella R. –

Snagged a stone half-expecting a letdown and the fudge is dense and smooth and the pecan breaks it up. The salt makes it taste twice as dark.

  122. Seoha V. –

Palmed one over the sink and the finish comes out warm, nutty, and surprisingly clean. Wonderful, just budget a slow night for it.

  123. Diego K. –

Unwrapped a piece for company and the salt lands the plane on an otherwise deep, sweet fudge. Sent a box to my mother the next day.

  124. Hawon P. –

Lifted the lid while the rain came down and the brigadeiro richness is honestly the entire point of it. The 8 Count looks generous until you taste it, then it’s barely enough.

  125. Sula D. –

Pried a stone loose half-expecting a letdown and a quiet bourbon heat keeps all that richness interesting. A bit of a splurge, but I understand the price now.

  126. Chitto I. –

Sampled one once the house went quiet and the pecan and dark fudge together read like a very good idea. The warning label is doing honest work here.

  127. Hawon F. –

Snagged a stone during the horror marathon and the whole bite reads deep, dark, and a little dangerous. The 12 Count felt indulgent until it lasted exactly four nights.

  128. Roscoe E. –

Popped one in while the kettle heated and the sweetness builds slow instead of hitting you all at once. The kind of treat you hide from roommates.

  129. Malcolm K. –

Sampled one out of plain curiosity and the fudge is rich without a trace of waxiness to it. That warm bourbon note was like a nip of my Irish grandfather’s good whiskey.

  130. Jinho N. –

Unwrapped a piece on a gray, drizzly evening and the pecan keeps every bite from blurring into pure sweet. Next time it’s the 12 Count, lesson learned.

  131. Everett V. –

Pulled a stone on the porch and the dark chocolate is serious and the finish is clean. Pecan done the way my Mvskoke grandmother always did it.

  132. Earl Z. –

Unwrapped a piece during the horror marathon and the pecan keeps the sweetness grounded and honest. Reads more dessert than snack, which I didn’t mind at all.

  133. Leilani R. –

Deep, dark, fudgy, and gone fast. Buying again.

  134. Owen S. –

Lifted the lid before dinner and the salt edge is the detail that makes the whole thing sing. A repeat order is already in the cart.

  135. Grainne M. –

Popped one in once the house went quiet and it reads like dessert that wandered into the snack aisle. Set it out and timed how fast it vanished — fast.

  136. Doyun M. –

Palmed one while the rain came down and it reads expensive without ever feeling fussy about it. Solid, would buy again, just in smaller handfuls.

  137. Bennett T. –

Sampled one during the ballgame and every stone is dense and dark and gone before I even clock it. Cozy-rich and right on time for October.

  138. Leonardo B. –

Palmed one at the lake house and the sweetness is deep but the salt keeps it in check. L. A. Walton makes dessert feel like a dare, and I’m here for it.

  139. Owen P. –

Unwrapped a piece after a long day and the cocoa is serious and the pecan keeps it friendly. Autumn in a box, more or less.

  140. Nokosi O. –

Grabbed a stone during the horror marathon and the chocolate has real backbone sitting under all the sweetness. L. A. Walton outdid herself here, truly one of a kind.

  141. Sujin O. –

Lifted the lid during the horror marathon and the chocolate is dark, the pecan is warm, the salt is sharp. Great flavor, the box just empties fast.

  142. Samuel E. –

Unwrapped a piece the minute the kids went down and the pecan crunch cuts the fudge at exactly the right moment. Smitten with this one.

  143. Niamh Y. –

Took the first bite while the kettle heated and the bourbon warmth gives the whole thing a grown-up edge. Right on time for the first candle-lit evenings.

  144. Rufus F. –

Palmed one out of plain curiosity and the salt arrives late and makes the chocolate taste deeper. Glad it’s in my rotation now.

  145. Terrence I. –

Fudgy, dark, a little salty. Perfect.

  146. Naomi T. –

Worked one loose at the kitchen counter and the fudge is velvet in the center and clean on the finish. Should’ve skipped the 4 Count and gone big from the start.

  147. Oscar V. –

Palmed one the night it arrived and it tastes cooked-down and patient, not thrown-together. A bit of a splurge, worth it now and then.

  148. Taemin D. –

Chocolate fudge that bites back. I’m in.

  149. Minseo C. –

Broke one in half while the kettle heated and the fudge melts into cocoa and the pecan holds the shape. Everyone who tried it asked where I got it.

  150. Minho A. –

Nice and rich, exactly as promised. Happy.
